Devlog Update: Enhanced Enemy Navigation and Dynamic Blood Effects
Another update is here, bringing refinements to enemy behavior and adding an extra layer of immersive detail to your survival experience.
Heretic Navigation Fixes
We’ve addressed a small nav mesh issue in the Heretic’s arena to ensure smoother traversal during encounters. Previously, there was a rare occurrence where the Heretic could glitch through the ground—this has been resolved. You can now expect the Heretic to pursue you relentlessly across the battlefield without any interruptions.
Dynamic Blood Effects
To heighten the tension and immersion, we’ve added a new bleeding mechanic. When the player takes significant damage and begins bleeding, blood particles will now visibly attach to the player’s body. This visual feedback reinforces the dire state of your character, reminding you to tread carefully as you fight for survival.
These updates aim to improve the gameplay experience by fine-tuning enemy interactions and making the horrors of Gravemire feel even more visceral. As always, your feedback is appreciated, and we hope these changes make your time with Requiem (1998) even more gripping.
Stay safe out there—Gravemire waits for no one.
