Requiem Update 12: Post-Jam Bug Fix Log 2
This is the second post-jam update, bringing a round of movement and control fixes along with a few quality-of-life improvements:
- Increased sensitivity for gamepad turning
- Improved turn-in-place animation, now only playing when actually turning
- Added ability to reload while aiming
- Disabled sprinting and object interaction while aiming
These changes aim to enhance control smoothness and refine the gameโs difficulty balance. Movement now feels more responsive, and animations are better aligned with player actions. Balancing is also improved: reloading adds strategic depth to combat, while the restrictions on sprinting and interacting while aiming make the third-person view primarily for shooting and looking around. This way, aim view feels more tactical rather than overpowered.
